It is a good practice to assign unique names to each object to keep the
scene organized. Assigning names helps avoid having dozens,
hundreds, or thousands of objects with default names followed by a
number.
To rename an object, you can:
Select the object and press F2: That calls a small menu that will
let you pick a new name.
Double-click at the object name in the Outliner Editor: You can
rename the object straight from the Collections list.
Use the Properties Editor: Select the object and go to the Object
tab. At the top, you will be able to set a new name.
At the Properties Editor, you will have the object name at the top of that
tab (Figure 2.34).
